Role Overview: Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate Family Violence Case Worker to join our dedicated team in Werribee. In this crucial role, you will provide advocacy, referral, and support to individuals and families experiencing family violence. Our Family Violence program offers a range of support options, including short, medium, and long-term casework, ensuring that clients receive the tailored assistance they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advocacy, referral, and support to individuals and families experiencing family violence. π£οΈπΌ
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised support plans based on clients' needs. π
- Deliver short, medium, and long-term casework, offering ongoing support and assistance as required. π
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate wrap-around services for clients. π€
- Conduct outreach as required to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all community members. π
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. ππ
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors qualifications and experience in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field. π
- Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of family violence and its impact on communities. π‘
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. π¬π€
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team. π
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for outreach purposes.πβ
