Orange Door Hub Practitioners - WFH Locum Contract Opportunity!
Salary - $61.60 per hour + super

About the Role:
We are currently recrutiing seeking experienced Orange Door Practitioners to assist with Active Engagement. You will hold family violence and/or child wellbeing cases after TOD assessment while awaiting allocation to case management services, providing ongoing supports and assessments to ensure needs and safety are being met. This role is fully remote, providing virtual support to clients.
Key Duties:
- Prioritise the safety of victim survivors and children using a gendered understanding of family violence and an understanding of child and family vulnerability.
- Initiate contact with clients in response to referrals to the Hub and provide support and a source of information and advice with a focus on risk assessment and engagement.
- Work collaboratively as part of an integrated practice approach to respond to the needs of children, young people and families experiencing family violence and vulnerability concerns.
- Following legislative and policy guidelines, seek information from multiple sources to inform assessment of risk and planning.
- Adopt a level of seniority and accountability in elements of day-to-day decision making.
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Minimum 12 months experience working at an Orange Door Hub. Applicants without prior TOD experience will not be considered.
- Understanding of family violence theoretical frameworks and interventions
- Comprehensive MARAM training and experience utilising this with victim survivors and people who use violence
You will also need to be willing to provide 2x professional references + undergo a Working with Children Check and Police Check.
