What do you do at Tradewind?

I work as a consultant on the Family Services team. My role is mostly matching great candidates to roles in the Family Services & Family Violence sectors across Victoria.

What's a valuable lesson you've learnt from your professional experience?

I've learnt to really listen to candidates and clients. I'll always try to match candidates with roles based on their preferences, but also what I think will be the best cultural fit. You have to ask questions and listen with a genuine interest to ensure you're making the best match.

How do you and your team provide the best recruitment experience?

We have expert knowledge in the child and family services sector. We've got long standing relationships with our clients, meaning we are able to best match candidates, not only based on skills, but also based on cultural fit.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I was once a primary school teacher!

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is...

Do less talking and more listening. This can be a challenge for an extrovert like me!
