Tradewind, Australia's leading community services recruitment agency, is recruiting Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to join The Orange Door Hub in Shepparton. In this critical role, you'll provide comprehensive intake, safety assessments, brief intervention, and referral support to individuals and families impacted by family violence. ๐
What You'll Do:
- Conduct safety assessments and provide interventions for individuals and families impacted by family violence
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely and effective support services
- Provide referrals and collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with case management experience OR a diploma qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years case management experience in AOD, family services, family violence, homelessness, youth, or mental health
- Ideally experience in family violence or a related field
- A passion for empowering vulnerable individuals and families
What We Offer:
- Full-time or 0.8 EFT (ongoing contract)
- Salary of $97,000 - $101,000 + super + salary packaging
- 4 weeks of annual leave
- 12 days personal leave per year
- 20 days Family Violence Leave
- 5 days exam, PD, and study leave for full-time staff, with a Professional Development Allowance
- Access to purchased leave
- Relocation assistance ($3500) + referral to the Community Connector Program run by the local government, helping you settle in with ease
