Role Overview: We've teamed up with Tradewind Recruitment to support their Domestic and Family Violence Service, and they're searching for a compassionate Family Violence Case Manager to join their ranks. In this pivotal role, you'll provide vital support to individuals and families impacted by domestic and family violence. From risk assessments to crisis response, personal care to advocacy, you'll be the guiding light helping them navigate toward safety and empowerment! 🔦✨

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop individualised support plans for clients. 📝
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing domestic and family violence. 🤗
• Deliver life skills training and empower clients to build their capacity for independent living. 🌱
• Be the voice for clients' needs and rights, assisting them in accessing appropriate services and resources. 🗣️💼
• Collaborate with a dynamic team and external stakeholders to provide wrap-around support for clients. 🤝
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records like a true superhero! 🦸‍♂️🔒

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field. 🎓
• Previous experience working in the field of domestic and family violence. 💼
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and best practices in case management. 🧠
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. 💬🤝
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with external service providers. 🌟
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required. 🚗✅
