Family Services Team Leader

Tradewind, Australia's leading community services recruitment agency, is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader for the Walytjapiti Child and Family Case Management Service, based in Alice Springs. This service supports vulnerable families across nine remote communities in the Northern Territory, South Australia, and Western Australia, providing trauma-informed and therapeutic case management.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in remote communities, providing support to those most in need. Some regional travel will be required on an as-needed basis.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage the Walytjapiti case management team, ensuring trauma-informed and therapeutic services are provided to vulnerable families
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive case management services
• Collaborate with local stakeholders and agencies to enhance family support services
• Travel to remote communities to provide hands-on support when needed
• Ensure best practices in service delivery and team performance

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum Diploma qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of experience in case management, child protection, family services, or family violence
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic approaches
• Ability to lead and manage a diverse team
• Willingness to travel to regional communities as required
• A passion for working with vulnerable families in remote areas

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary of $100,000 - $108,000 + super + salary packaging
