๐ Orange Door Practitioner - Aboriginal Team ๐
Based in Croydon or Box Hill Hub | Full-Time, Ongoing Opportunity
Tradewind Australia, a leading community services recruitment agency, is seeking an Orange Door Practitioner to join the Aboriginal team at the Croydon or Box Hill Hub. In this vital role, you will provide intake, comprehensive assessments, immediate support, and referrals for Aboriginal clients seeking family violence and/or child wellbeing support through the Orange Door.
Role Details:
- Location: Croydon or Box Hill Hub
- Contract: Full-time, Locum 2-3months ASAP start
- Salary: SCHADS 5 Locum rates $61-$64ph
- Flexibility: 1 day per week work-from-home after training
What You'll Do:
- Deliver culturally safe intake and assessment services for Aboriginal clients
- Provide immediate support and facilitate appropriate referrals to meet client needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working at The Orange Door
- Experience working with Aboriginal families in the context of family violence or child wellbeing
- A commitment to culturally informed and trauma-sensitive practices
- Qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field
- Identified candidates are preferred but not essential
