Job Description

A prestigious and highly respected all-boys school in Camberwell is seeking a passionate and innovative Digital Technology and Computing Teacher to join our academic team, commencing at the beginning of Term 1. With a strong focus on academic excellence and preparing students for the challenges of a rapidly evolving digital world, this role offers the opportunity to inspire young minds through engaging, hands-on lessons. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the technological literacy and problem-solving abilities of students from Years 7-12, fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the digital technology and computing curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and technology-driven classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and creativity.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and technology-related projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Uphold and integrate the school's values and ethos within the educational framework.

Skills & Experience:

  • Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
  • Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate previous experience as a Digi Tech and Computing Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
