About the role:

A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Secondary TAS teacher to join a community orientated school within the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. Due to the school having a large department, it is possible to tailor the timetable to match your skill set. You would be working in a supportive team environment with a competitive compensation and benefits package. You will have access to immaculate workshops and kitchens equipped with multiple flatbed and CNC routers, digital-controlled table saws and thicknessers, multiple combi ovens, dedicated hospitality and domestic kitchens, walk-in refrigerators and professional barista training set-up

Key Duties:

  • Be passionate about empowering students with technological knowledge and innovation
  • Up to date with TAS NSW curriculum knowledge across Stage 4-6
  • Work in a collaborative environment
  • Plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs

Skills & Experience:

  • Secondary teaching qualification and able to teach multiple TAS subjects
  • A strong passion to empower and motivate students in the TAS space
  • Stage 4-6 experience in TAS
  • Ability to teach VET either Construction or Hospitality would be desirable
  • Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references

  • $81,800-$122,500 + Super (based off experience)
