Job Description
This NDIS provider is looking for eight Support Workers with varying levels of experience to start immediately in the Lismore location.
Key Responsibility in the role:
- Carry out, model, and promote positive routines/duties/activities in a cooperative, respectful, and flexible manner, which are meaningful and purposeful to the participant
- Communicate regularly with the Team Leader in relation to the availability
- Document session notes into Flow Logic within 12 hours of the shift
- Report any incidents/accidents / near misses using forms in Flow Logic
- Use Flow Logic for shift clock in / clock out
- Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures
- Facilitate community inclusion and participation
- Carry out designated duties/tasks as per the service plan or Team Leader's instruction
Requirements for the role:
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Drivers Licence
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Experience working within the community services sector is desirable
- Sound understanding of the NDIS
- Formal qualifications (desired)
