We're seeking passionate and dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioners to support a new family violence refuge opening in May 2024. This refuge provides crucial crisis support, safety, and recovery services for women and children.

• Role Overview:
  
  
  • Position: Specialist Family Violence Practitioner
  • Location: Darwin, Northern Territory 🌴
  • Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing contract
  • Salary: SCHADs 5 pay point ($93,000 - $98,000 + super)
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 🤝 Provide specialised support and intervention to women and children experiencing family violence.
  • 🌟 Collaborate with a dedicated team to create a safe and supportive refuge environment.
  • 📋 Conduct assessments, develop tailored support plans, and deliver trauma-informed care.
  • 🤲 Work closely with community partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 🎓 Bachelors in social work, psychology, counselling, or related field.
  • 🌱 Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals and families impacted by family violence.
  • 💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 🤝 Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
