About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and confident Senior Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed counselling and case management to children, young people and their caregivers.
As a Senior Practitioner, you'll work collaboratively to:
Support complex clients through tailored, evidence-informed therapeutic practice
Provide high-level case conceptualisation and practice guidance to team members
Manage referral and intake processes, support compliance and contribute to reporting
Work closely with the program manager to ensure quality, culturally responsive service delivery aligned to program goals
What You Bring
✔ A degree in Social Work or Psychology
✔ Minimum of 3 years' therapeutic experience with children and young people impacted by trauma
✔ Demonstrated knowledge of child development, trauma, and relevant therapeutic frameworks
✔ Skills in intake, risk and psychosocial assessment, safety planning and interagency collaboration
✔ Experience leading or mentoring practitioners and contributing to team development
✔ Understanding of cultural safety for First Nations children, families and communities
✔ Valid Blue Card, Disability Worker Screening, and open QLD driver's licence
