About the Role:
Tradewind are proud to be working closely with a Secondary school in Melbourne's West, offering the opportunity for a Science and Psychology teacher to join the school this term. Key duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Years 7-10 Science and VCE Psychology (Years 10-12) lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE Study Design.
- Develop hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments that measure student progress and meet VCAA requirements for VCE Psychology.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student learning and academic growth and prepare and submit student reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping of student achievements.
- Stay updated with educational advancements in Science and Psychology through professional learning and VCAA updates.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Must have VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching secondary Science and Psychology within Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).

- Salary range from $78k-$116k plus Super- experience based
