Job Description
Are you looking for a Religion position starting in term 1? Tradewind are working closely with a co-educational Catholic School near Marsden Park who are welcoming a Religion teacher to their team for a permanent contract.
The successful applicant will be teaching religion from stage 4 to stage 6. Join a vibrant and growing school community with around 1800 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Demonstrated Experience and Skills
- Qualifications and suitable experience to teach secondary religious education, including studies of religion
- Qualifications and suitable experience to teach an additional subject area would be advantageous
- Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
- Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
- Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to achieve strong academic results
Prerequisites
- Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
- Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
