We are an Allied Health Centre that specializes in providing quality healthcare solutions for all ages across the NDIS. Our team of dedicated health professionals who are passionate about helping people achieve their best health and well-being. Our multidisciplinary team creates a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their feelings, overcome challenges, and develop resilience. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Psychologist to join our team and positively impact the lives of young individuals and their families.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tests, interviews, and observations.
- Identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral factors that influence a client's functioning and quality of life.
- Interpret assessment results and synthesize findings into clear, concise reports to guide intervention planning.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or other modalities.
- Provide individual, group, or family counseling sessions that focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, and psychosocial support.
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions to address evolving goals and challenges.
- Conduct developmental and psychosocial assessments to identify barriers affecting personal, social, or educational functioning.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Endorsement in a specific area of practice is desirable but not essential, depending on the requirements of the role.
- Current National Police Check Certificate.
- Current Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination certificate or evidence of an approved exemption.
