THE ROLE
The HR/Recruitment Coordinator supports the operational team with recruitment and HR tasks, ensuring a seamless hiring and onboarding process. Key responsibilities include:
- Posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Managing candidate communications and ensuring a positive experience.
- Conducting initial phone screenings and preparing offer letters.
- Assisting with new hire onboarding, training coordination, and documentation.
- Supporting HR administration, maintaining records, and assisting with disciplinary actions.
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and preparing reports on recruitment metrics.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or recruitment coordination, with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Knowledge of modern awards, national employment standards, and employee entitlements.
- Strong customer service focus with excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work collaboratively in a team, and approach problem-solving proactively.
