THE SCHOOL

A well-established and respected school in Victoria, known for its commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, is looking to expand its administration team. The school is passionate about providing quality education and creating a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and the wider community.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Receptionist to join our administrative team. As the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of the school office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the front desk and greeting visitors in a professional manner
  • Answering phone calls and directing inquiries as needed
  • Assisting with student attendance records and daily reports
  • Managing the school's communication platforms
  • Supporting administrative staff with various tasks and documentation
  • Handling mail and deliveries
  • Maintaining student records and data entry tasks

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a receptionist or in an administrative role, ideally within a school setting
  • Proficiency in the use of Cases21 and Compass software
  • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
