Job Description

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on others' mental health? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate psychologist (registered or provisional) to join this growing team.

You will provide tailored services that align with each individual's NDIS plan. All practices are participant-focused and prioritize the choices, rights, and decisions of the clients. Given the diverse needs of participants, this role requires the Psychologist to actively promote their voices and choices, as well as to report any areas of concern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and/or group therapy for clients with diverse needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic testing, if applicable.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of client progress.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources as needed.
  • Participate in regular supervision (for provisional psychologists) and ongoing professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • Registered Psychologist OR Provisional Psychologist with a current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to helping others and a passion for mental health.
  • Experience in working with clients with a disability is desirable but not essential.
  • Provisional psychologists will be supported with regular supervision and mentorship.
