Psychologist Opportunity - Bendigo | Flexible Hours | Join the New Mental Health Service! Be a key part of building a brand-new, innovative Local mental health service!
  • Permanent role - offering both part-time and full-time positions, so we can work with what fits best for you!
  • Relocation support: Up to $15,000 in grants for eligible candidates through the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV).

What's this role all about? You'll be working with the new "Local" service - a crucial part of Victoria's mental health system transformation, designed to be a welcoming front door to mental health services. It offers a broad range of supports, from clinical treatment to wellbeing and therapeutic support. At the core of this role is helping individuals, families, and carers through the complexity of mental health challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality psychological therapies, assessments, and interventions.
  • Engage with clients, their families, and support networks through individual or group sessions.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team to align care with each individual's unique needs.
  • Facilitate group programs to build clients' capacity to thrive.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • A degree in Psychology with AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
  • Experience working in mental health or related fields (community services, disability, etc.).
  • Skills in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.
  • A passion for working in a diverse, inclusive environment, including understanding peer-led approaches.
