This role involves coordinating and delivering key projects to strengthen partnerships between not-for-profit organisations and the health sector. You will engage with diverse stakeholders to address health and social policy priorities while managing initiatives to improve services for people with complex needs. This role is on a fixed term basis until June 30th 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and report on projects to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Research and map the current state of strategic priorities to support policy development.
- Develop engagement and communication plans to enhance collaboration between the health sector and not-for-profit organisations.
- Provide advice on emerging policy issues relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
- Liaise with stakeholders to represent the interests of the advisory committee in internal and external forums.
- Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, and documents to support decision-making.
- Monitor work plans and ensure progress aligns with objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- Professional experience in health or social services policy development and implementation within not-for-profit or community settings.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and report on complex projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills to produce high-quality reports and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in complex program areas.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly regarded.
