Job Description

Tradewind are seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Head of College in an Independent co-educational K-12 Christian College. The college is located across two campuses in the St George area. Join this well-respected school in a full-time, ongoing position that will allow you to play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of the College.

Demonstrated Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience in and the ability to:

  • Embody and promote the teachings, faith, and ethos of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
  • Collaborate closely with the Heads of Primary and Secondary, and the CFO.
  • Provide educational leadership for change and improvement.
  • Build and mentor effective teams.
  • Develop and implement College strategy and operational plans.
  • Engage and motivate staff, students, and parents to maintain high expectations.
  • Integrate technology for learning and utilize data for student performance improvement.
  • Implement Wellbeing policies and actively participate in the religious program.
  • Lead professional learning and manage staff performance.
  • Efficiently manage school administration and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Prerequisites:

  • The ideal candidate for the Head of College position must possess suitable academic qualifications along with a distinguished record of teaching and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • The Head of College must be registered with NESA or an Australian interstate equivalent.
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
