Job Description

A prestigious Christian college is looking for a passionate Primary Learning and Teaching Coordinator to support staff, oversee curriculum development, and ensure compliance with educational standards. Collaborating with leadership, you will play a key role in mentoring, curriculum planning, and student support. This is to commence Term 1, 2025. This position will be permanent and full-time.

The successful applicants must have:

  • VIT registration
  • Preferred post-graduate qualifications in Special Education (experienced teachers with an interest in the area of Special Education will also be considered)
  • Mentoring: Guide staff on the Australian Curriculum and assist new staff with school processes. Conduct classroom walkthroughs, support professional growth, and monitor students of concern.
  • Curriculum Development: Set curriculum goals, ensure VRQA compliance, and review documentation. Oversee digital resources and provide training on tools like Google Drive.
  • Meetings & Reporting: Lead weekly L&T meetings, coordinate NAPLAN testing, and support assessment processes. Attend ASV L&T Council meetings and share insights.
  • Resource Management: Manage online platforms, assist with ACER tests, and provide training. Analyse data to support teaching strategies.
  • SEQTA Management: Train staff, maintain links, and set up subjects for teacher
