Join a vibrant co-educational state primary school in Blackburn as a dedicated Primary Teacher, starting a full-time role in Term 1, 2025. Key duties
- Crafting and presenting lessons that captivate young minds, ensuring they align with curriculum standards and cater to individual student needs.
- Evaluating student progress through diverse assessment methods, including tests, projects, and observations, offering valuable feedback to support their educational journey.
- Establishing a positive classroom environment characterized by respect and inclusivity, effectively managing behaviour to create a conducive space for learning.
- Tailoring instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.
- Maintaining regular and transparent communication with parents or guardians, sharing updates on student performance and collaborating on strategies for enhanced learning.
- Engaging in ongoing professional growth, collaborating with peers to exchange ideas and resources, and contributing to a supportive school community.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate at least two years previous experience as a primary teacher
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
