About the Role:
Are you a passionate Primary PE teacher searching for a new opportunity in 2025? Tradewind is excited to partner with a forward-thinking F-9 school in Point Cook, located in Melbourne's West, to fill a full-time, ongoing PE teaching role for Years F-6 starting in Term 1, 2025. You'll be joining a vibrant, community-driven school committed to fostering academic and personal growth through the globally recognized International Baccalaureate Program, which emphasizes creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. With state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative school culture, this is a fantastic chance to make a real impact!

Key duties:

• Design and implement a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, motor skills development, and overall health within the Victorian Curriculum
• Lead students in various physical activities, sports, and exercises to enhance their cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and coordination
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to help students improve their individual and team-based skills
• Instil values of sportsmanship, fair play, and teamwork through organized sports and group activities
• Use various assessment methods to gauge individual and group performance, providing feedback for improvement
• Create an inclusive environment that accommodates students with different abilities and learning styles.
• Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring everyone can participate and experience success
• Ensure a safe and secure environment during physical activities, implementing proper safety protocols

Skills & Experience:

• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Must have VIT registration or are in the process of obtaining this
• Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia/Placement experience essential
• Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
