About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Primary French LOTE teacher to join a welcoming school in Caroline Springs, Melbourne's West, starting Term 1, 2025. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for educators at any stage of their career, from enthusiastic new graduates to experienced teaching professionals. The position involves teaching French across Foundation to Year 6, allowing you to engage students at various developmental stages. Key duties:
- Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align the Victorian Curriculum for Primary/Secondary levels.
- Deliver effective and interactive French language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.
- Introduce aspects of French culture into lessons through age-appropriate activities, stories, and projects to foster cultural awareness.
- Design assessments to evaluate their language acquisition and provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate French language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.
- Stay informed about developments in language education, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
Skills & Experience:
- Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Current VIT registration is essential
- Proven experience teaching secondary Primary French LOTE in Australia
- Graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported
- Ability to provide two education-based references from the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable)

- A full-time, ongoing position starting Term 1, 2025

- Salary aligned with demonstrated expertise, ranging from $75,000 to $115,000
