About the Role:
As a Casual Relief Teacher in our primary and secondary special development schools, you'll provide continuity of learning for students while their regular teachers are away. Your skills, preferences, and availability will be matched with schools in the Cranbourne area to ensure a fulfilling teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and stimulating learning environment tailored to individual needs.
- Engage students using diverse teaching styles and approaches.
- Support students during yard duty when necessary.
- Ensure a seamless continuation of learning in the absence of their usual teacher.
Skills & Experience:
- A relevant Teaching Qualification and current VIT registration.
- Two recent references from senior education professionals (student teacher mentors welcome).
- Experience or willingness to work in special development school settings is highly regarded.
- Adaptability to dynamic classroom environments.
