About the Role:
Tradewind Australia is recruiting for a Pre School Field Officer who will be responsible for supporting Kindergartens, their staff and children across the Western Suburbs for a short term contract.

As a Pre School Field Officer with Tradewind you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch care, support and education to young people and supporting centres to reach their peak performance and deliver excellent learning outcomes. This role offers the flexibility to work from home part of the week, once established.
Key duties:
- Visiting preschools and kindergartens to provide hands-on support to educators
- Sharing your expertise in inclusive practices and child development
- Collaborating with services to create positive learning environments for all children
- Helping to build the confidence of early years educators through coaching and mentoring
- Supporting the development of practical guidelines, reporting, and assessment processes that help track progress and inform practice
Skills & Experience:
- Fully completed ACECQA Recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification (i.e a Bachelors of master's degree in early childhood)
- Current VIT for Early Childhood Teaching (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Previous experience working as a Pre School Field Officer is essential
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Passionate about early childhood education and care
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with educators and families
- Experienced in working with children with additional needs and supporting inclusive practices
- Skilled in developing practical guidelines, reporting, and assessment to inform quality practice
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a "hands-on" attitude and a willingness to show initiative
- Highly organised, dependable, and genuinely committed to supporting others
- Confident in coaching and mentoring early childhood educators
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Child Safety Standards
- Holds a current Victorian Driver's License and has access to a reliable vehicle
