Tradewind is looking to speak with qualified PDHPE teachers looking to progress their career with a Sports Coordinator role. The college strives to achieve educational excellence and regonise that staff play an important role in the lives of its students and community.
About the role:
A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Secondary PDHPE Coordinator to join a community orientated school within the Eastern area of Sydney. Your timetable will be teaching Secondary PDHPE across Stage 4-6, with time allocated for the responsibilities included as Sports Coordinator. This is a collaborative Independent K-12 Co-Educational College. The school has approximately 540 students and 50 teaching staff and is on the lookout for vibrant leaders of the future to join their school community.
Key Duties:
- Have a clear passion about the PDHPE subject to inspire students
- Work in a collaborative environment
- Plan and implement high quality teaching and learning programs
Skills & Experience:
- Secondary teaching qualification and able to teach PDHPE
- A strong passion to empower and motivate students in the PDHPE space
- Sports Coordinator experience not essential, having a willingness to expand knowledge and learn is desirable
- Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
Offering:
- Stage 4-6 PDHPE
- Term 3 start until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension into 2025
- Full time
- Ongoing support provided
- Offering of salary based on your proven experience, with a range of $81,800-$122,500 + Super
