About the Role:
Tradewind are recruiting for a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to work in an excellent Early learning Centre, attached to a Grammar school in Armadale on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the Toddler Room
The centre also offers a monthly RDO, five weeks annual leave (pro rata for part time staff), quality resources, professional development and an excellent staff/child ratio.
Key duties:
· Support Team Leaders and other Educators to implement and evaluate play-based learning experiences in partnership with families; in accordance with the ELYF and NQF.
· Work collaboratively with a team of educators to implement a program that places importance on care and education.
· Demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
Skills & Experience:
· Completed a relevant ACECQA Approved Qualification in Early Childhood Education (i.e Diploma in ECE)
· Current Working With Children Check
· Have experience working in Long Day Care with a sound knowledge of EYLF and NQF
· Have an understanding of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy
· Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student teacher mentors are acceptable).
· Current First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
Desired Skills & Experience:
· Previous experience working in Long Day Care with Toddler age group
