Rate

$78000 - $86000 FTE + Super (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead an Out of School Hours Care program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role is ongoing and the proposed hours will be:

  • During Term Weeks: Monday to Thursday - 11.00am to 6.00pm (30-minute lunch break) and Friday 1.00pm to 6.00pm (30-minute lunch break)
  • During School Holiday periods: Monday to Friday - 8-hour shift (45-minute lunch break)

Key duties:

· Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs that promote children's learning and development.

· Lead, support, and motivate a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and experiences for children.

· Maintain a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected, and supported.

· Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the broader community.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including National Quality Framework (NQF) standards.

· Oversee administrative tasks such as rostering, budget management, and record keeping.

Skills & Experience:

· Minimum requirement of an ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.

· Prior experience as a Coordinator of an OSHC Provision.

· Senior First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma training.

· Food Safety Certification, or willingness to complete relevant training.

· Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and Education and Care Services National Regulations.

· Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check (or be willing to obtain one) or VIT registration (if applicable).
