Job Description
Tradewind is working with an independent co-educational school in Southwest Sydney that is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.8 FTE) Music teacher to join its team for the 2025 school year, commencing at the start of Term 1. There is also the potential for this position to become permanent. Experienced teachers and garduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Requirements:
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and creative Music programs.
- Experience teaching Stage 4 Music, including the integration of technology.
- Strong classroom management skills in a dynamic, practical setting.
- Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular programs as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and learning practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to the school's Christian ethos.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds.
