Job Description
Tradewind is partnering with a co-educational Independent school near Wahroonga to welcome a dedicated Maths teacher to their expanding team.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in Term 2, 2025. The role would involve teaching advanced maths to years 11 and 12 as well as standard maths for years 7-10. Experience in advanced maths would be highly regarded.
About the Role
As a valued member of this supportive school community, you will:
- Teach Maths across various year levels.
- Create inclusive strategies to engage diverse learners in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Maintain effective organisation and meet administrative and assessment responsibilities.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications: Accredited to teach Maths.
- Experience: Proven ability to cater for diverse learning needs.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NESA.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds.
