Key Duties
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to the varying abilities of secondary college students.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on experimentation.
- Promote a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a passion for discovery.
- Assess student progress using a variety of evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback on their understanding of scientific concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate scientific principles across the curriculum.
- Stay current with best practices in Maths education and actively participate in school activities and events.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience as a Maths Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
