This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Junior Secondary Physical Education teacher to join a forward-thinking and vibrant team in a full-time capacity.

Key duties:
- Designing and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate PE lessons that align with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Providing clear instruction and demonstration of movement skills, sports techniques, and fitness exercises.
- Teach a range of topic related to physical education including health and well-being, nutrition, mental health and personal development.
- Conducting physical fitness assessments to evaluate students' strength, flexibility, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness levels.
- Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment by implementing appropriate safety procedures and risk management strategies during physical activities and sports.
- Organizing and maintaining PE equipment, sports gear, and facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and accessible for students.
- Integrating health education components into PE lessons to promote students' understanding of health-related topics such as nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and the benefits of physical activity.
- Assessing students' progress and achievement in PE through various forms of assessment, such as skill demonstrations, performance tasks, fitness tests, and written assignments.
Skills & Experience:
- Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Current VIT registration is essential
- Proven experience teaching secondary PE in a school within Australia preferred
- Graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported
- Ability to provide two education-based references from the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable)
