IT Manager (12-Month Contract)

THE COMPANY
A well-established school in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced IT Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract, commencing in mid-May. The school is committed to delivering an innovative and dynamic learning environment, with a strong focus on technology-driven education. As the school undergoes significant ICT advancements, this role presents an opportunity to lead key projects and enhance digital learning capabilities.
THE ROLE
This leadership position is responsible for managing the school's ICT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity while overseeing a small team of three. The role is central to ensuring the efficient delivery of ICT services, enhancing digital learning, and maintaining robust security frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing IT infrastructure, systems, and network security
* Managing and mentoring the ICT team
* Driving ICT strategy and digital transformation
* Implementing a Disaster Recovery Plan and cybersecurity enhancements
* Leading key ICT projects, including system upgrades and Masterplan developments
* Managing the school's BYOD Program across all student cohorts
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
* Proven ICT/IT Manager experience. Will only consider experience working in schools.
* Strong expertise in network administration, cybersecurity, and IT service management
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic ICT solutions
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
* A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education
* Qualifications in Computer Science, IT Networks, or a related field + Current Working With Children Check
