Job Description
The program in Ipswich provides direct services to people who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness through service provision, coordination, and advocacy of services to obtain and maintain secure, stable, and long-term housing. The aim is to maximise their capacity to be independent, self-reliant, and connected to appropriate social and community resources including assisting them to access suitable housing options. Our team provide direct service provision, coordination, and advocacy of services with individuals, couples, and families.
As the Intake/ Tenancy Support Worker you will provide high quality 'customer first' service experience through working in collaboration with the team to obtain and maintain appropriate housing options for customers.
The locum role will be full time hours until the end of June, paid at SCHADS 4 (plus casual loading)
Degree qualification in social work/community services desirable- new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma of Community Services (or equivalent)
- Blue card
- Drivers Licence
- Police check
