We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to play a pivotal role in building a positive, engaged, and compliant workplace culture, in a values based, young, dynamic, for-profit Disability services organisation. This is your opportunity to step into an impactful leadership role, where your skills in people management, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement will make a real difference.

Full time (38 hours) or 4 days (30 hours) per week, permanent role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and innovate our HR strategy, policies, and processes

  • Champion employee engagement, development, and succession planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding - making the candidate experience smooth and efficient

  • Coach and advise managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations

  • Stay ahead of industry best practices, ensuring we remain compliant and competitive

  • Oversee HR compliance, manage audits, and keep us ready for anything

  • Handle workplace investigations, mediation, disciplinary, and termination processes with professionalism

  • Partner with finance on payroll support and workforce planning

  • Maintain HR records and systems with accuracy and attention to detail

What We're Looking For:

  • An HR qualification or significant experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of industrial relations, employment law, and WHS regulations

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite

  • A proactive and highly organised approach - you're known for your attention to detail

  • A people-person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball

  • Familiarity of NDIS frameworks and Safeguards Commission requirements
