The opportunity:
We are currently looking for candidates with Hospital experience within social work for several private hospitals. The role involves work across the acute medical, surgical and oncology wards.
You will be responsible for providing high quality care to patients and their families within our health service.
Requirements of the positions are:
The ideal candidate will embody compassion, respect, self-drive, and professionalism. You will be dedicated to delivering top-tier services to patients and their families/carers, serving as a strong advocate with exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
Requirements:
- Membership or eligibility for membership with AASW
- Ability to contribute to a positive team culture and thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
- Solid computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, risk identification, discharge planning, and counselling
- Previous social work experience in a hospital setting is preferred, along with a solid understanding of community support services and discharge planning.
