THE CLIENT
An established and highly regarded healthcare provider is currently seeking 2 x experienced Grade 2 or 3 Occupational Therapist to join their team. The Role:
As a Grade 2 or 3 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services across various settings. You will work to assess, treat, and support patients with a wide range of conditions, from neurological and musculoskeletal to rehabilitation and chronic health conditions.
These roles can be either
- CLINCIAL - Seeing clients in their specialised clinic in the Inner South-East + some community client outreach
- or
- COMMUNITY - Fully community based work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments to develop individualised treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily function and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on rehabilitation and daily living strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in continuous professional development and supervision
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Aplied Science on Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration, First Aid & CPR qualifications
- Experience in clinical occupational therapy (Grade 2 or 3, ideally with 2+ years of experience)
- Experince in Neurological, TAC or NDIS cases will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
- A passion for helping others to achieve greater independence and improve quality of life
