About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a dedicated General/Art Primary teacher to join an esteemed Private global school in Melbourne's West, starting in Term 2. This role involves teaching Primary Art to students from years 3-6, and general Primary teaching/grade sharing with a flexible 3-4 day option.

Key duties:
- Design and deliver general Primary and art lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of primary students.
- Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
- Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
- Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in art education, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
- Embrace and uphold the school's educational philosophy, seamlessly integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.
- Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.
Skills & Experience:
- Must be prepared to relocate to Regional Victoria this year (additional allowance may be provided for relocation)
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Minimum 4-year Bachelor degree with at least 1 year teaching qualification
- Hold valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for three education-based references from within the last 5 years
