Classroom Teacher - French
Rate: AU$78,801 - AU$116,894 per annum + super
About the Role:
An outstanding school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher - French to join their team. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing immeditaley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and immersive French language lessons to students across various year levels. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
Key Duties:
Building Supportive Relationships: Establish meaningful connections with students, encouraging confidence and enthusiasm in language learning.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, specialists, and parents to support student progress.
Classroom Management: Create a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment, implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay current with language education methodologies.
Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated French language lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Relevant teaching qualification in Education with a specialisation in French
Current and valid VIT registration
Full working rights in Australia
Ability to provide two education-based references from the past five years (student-teacher mentors acceptable)
