About the role:
Bonjour! Are you a dedicated French LOTE educator with a passion for teaching? Tradewind is thrilled to partner with an exciting grammar on the Peninsula, offering an exciting opportunity to teach French to year 11 students. This full-time, ongoing role provides flexibility with a start date next term. Join the school in fostering a love for the French language and culture while making a lasting impact on young minds.
Key duties:
- Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align the Victorian Curriculum for year 11 French levels.
- Deliver effective and interactive French language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.
- Design assessments to evaluate their language acquisition and provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate French language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.
- Stay informed about developments in language education, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Previous experience in teaching Primary students
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
