Job Description
This role involves providing emotional and practical support to foster and kinship carers to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and best interests of children in care. Responsibilities include case management, carer training and assessments, supporting placements to prevent breakdowns, and liaising with stakeholders. The position also requires maintaining accurate records, participating in recruitment and matching processes, and collaborating with team leaders to ensure professional development and adherence to policies. Strong networking and consultation skills are essential for building relationships with carers, government agencies, and community groups.
Located in Wondai QLD with relocation assistance available.
Diploma qualification and experience in community services/ child protection required.
