About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Community Services Manager to lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team supporting people experiencing family and sexual violence. This role will be responsible for oversight of crisis, case management, and therapeutic programs provided from Swan Hill, working in collaboration with a broader leadership team working across multiple locations.
Key duties:
- Lead, monitor and support initial crisis response, case management, and therapeutic counselling services to enhance safety to victim survivors of family and sexual violence.
- Deliver leadership, supervision, and direction to a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective teamwork, quality practice, and positive team culture.
- Provide operational leadership including oversight of team performance, service and budget deliverables, and site management.
- Provide strategic input to system and organisational improvements.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of quality partnerships with key organisations.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive professional background in the community services and/or family violence sector, including leading complex case management models.
- Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams; providing supervision, mentorship, and staff development.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a broader leadership team located across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of key legislative, policy, and practice frameworks relevant to family and sexual violence.
- Meet mandatory minimum qualification requirements under Recommendation 209 (https://www.vic.gov.au/mandatory-minimum-qualifications-specialist-family-violence-practitioners)
You will also have or be willing to obtain a Victorian Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check and Police Check.
