About the Role:
An intersectional, feminist organisation committed to addressing and challenging the inequities arising from gender oppression, providing short-term intensive support, crisis accommodation. and outreach services to family violence victim survivors.
The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing program operations including planning and delivery of high-quality crisis accommodation and supports to victim-survivors and their children escaping family violence.
Key duties:
- Provide exceptional team leadership, promoting an environment that empowers and motivates staff to achieve service goals.
- Deliver operational leadership including oversight of team performance, service and budget deliverables, and refuge site management.
- Ensure compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Provide strategic input to system and organisational improvements.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of quality partnerships with key organisations.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's qualification in Social Work.
- Considerable previous experience in leadership and management roles.
- Demonstrated experience in leading continuous quality improvement, accreditation, and compliance.
- Knowledge of key legislative, policy, and practice frameworks relevant to family violence including MARAM Framework, Information Sharing, and Child Safe Standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of trauma informed, client centred and strengths-based models when working with women and children.
You will also have or be willing to obtain a Victorian Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check and Police Check.
