About the role:
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning with individuals and families experiencing family violence.
- Provide case management and coordinate support services, including referrals to external agencies.
- Offer emotional support and advocacy for clients, ensuring their voice and needs are heard.
- Work in collaboration with other community agencies, such as law enforcement, housing, and healthcare providers.
- Assist clients in navigating legal processes, such as applying for protection orders or engaging with the justice system.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in community education and outreach to raise awareness about family violence and available services.
๐ฏ About You:
- โ Minimum 1 year of experience in Family Violence
- โ Meet REC 209
- โ Registered with relevant industry bodies (or willing to obtain registration)
- โ Strong understanding of the community services sector and the challenges faced by families experiencing violence
- โ Passionate, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running ๐
