About the role:
Tradewind is currently seeking an enthusiastic English teacher who is qualified teach Stage 4 to 6 English to join a dynamic and dedicated team in Western Sydney.
Key Duties:
- Have a clear passion for English and want to inspire students
- Design and implement engaging and effective English curriculum for Stage 4 to 6 students.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective learning community. Participate actively in faculty discussions and contribute to extracurricular programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Secondary teacher qualification, with English as method
- Experience highly regarded
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance the learning experience, including familiarity with the Google Suite.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
- Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
Offering:
- Stage 4-6 English
- Part-time (0.6 FTE)
- Offering of salary based on your proven experience, with a range of $81,800-$122,500
