Position 1: Enrolled Nurse (EN)

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care at home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide outstanding clinical care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Monitor patient conditions, report any changes to the RN or medical staff.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per healthcare protocols.
  • Provide personal care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Position 2: Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, working autonomously and as part of a team to support patient recovery and improve their health outcomes, the role in home care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as required.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure that clinical practices are in line with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Lead and mentor Enrolled Nurses and other clinical staff members.

About you:

  • Experience with tracheostomy
  • Exceptional stakeholder management.
  • Provision of clinical services, education, consultation and health promotion
  • Deliver safe and specialised holistic nursing care to participants in the community
  • Wound Care and Management
  • Completion of required reports and documentation
  • Coordinate and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, building ongoing and positive communications with client stakeholders, such as local GPs, allied therapists, carers and family
  • Working within a shift environment, which may include morning, afternoon/evening and weekend shifts, public holidays, and active nights.

Enrolled Nurse (EN):

  • Current registration with [Nursing Regulatory Authority].
  • Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work effectively under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Current registration with [Nursing Regulatory Authority].
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum years of nursing experience
  • Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.

Essential:

  • NDIS check
  • NDIS orientation
  • First Aid certificate - HLTAID 011
  • Current CPR Certificate - HLTAID 009
