Rate: $225.65 per day + superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking five experienced Teacher's Assistants to work within a Special Development School (SDS) in Lilydale. This role involves providing vital support to teachers and students, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering structured learning experiences tailored to students' needs.
- Provide continuity of learning in the absence of the regular education support staff.
- Support students with a range of disabilities, using adaptive strategies to foster engagement.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including meals and toileting, as required.
- Adapt to different classroom settings and contribute positively to the school community.
Essential Criteria - You MUST:
- Hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Education Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability.
- Have previous experience working in Special Development School settings.
- Provide contact details for two senior school-based references from the last five years.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with students with varying support needs.
- Be comfortable assisting with meals and toileting.
- Be adaptable to different learning environments and classroom dynamics.
