About the Role:
Tradewind are recruiting for experienced and qualified Early Childhood Teachers to work in an excellent Early learning Centre from Term 1 2025. There are two roles available, both are fixed Term for the full academic year (January - December); one at 0.6 FTE load and the other 1.0 FTE. The ELC is part of a well known Grammar School in the suburb of Brighton East and follows a Reggio Emilia approach.
Key duties:
· Demonstate a strong passion for and experience in early childhood education, and specifically Reggio Emilia Philosophy
· Develop and deliver an educational program that fosters children's interests and stimulates their passion for learning through play
· Have a sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, reference www.acecqa.gov.au/national-quality-framework
· Have a comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the
Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
· Maintain children's individual observations, assessments and learning plans
· Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with families and children
Skills & Experience:
· ACECQA approved qualification; Bachelor of Early Childhood and Education
· VIT registration
· Deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Current first aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR.
